My heritage takes me back to one of the first Pioneers Thomas Waters, a botanist who came out from England in 1829 on the first fleet. He planted the first grape vine in Western Australia and produced the very first vintage at Olive Farm Winery on the banks of the Swan River, South Guildford. My mother was a Waters and had eight children, me being the youngest. My father purchased 10 acres of land for £100 where the Perth International airport now stands; we lived there for 20 years. All of my childhood days were spent roaming and exploring the bush nearby. I guess that is where my love for the land and our Australian bush comes from, having spent many a day there.
Since then I have had over 16 years in office administration and management which has taught me how important attention to detail is and also good customer service & relations. I have discovered that I am a people person and enjoy helping people get from where they are to where they want to be. I have always had a keen interest in real estate having purchased and sold a few myself, and have been selling real estate since 2005 having won a multitude of industry awards in that time.
The things that are important to me in my line of work are honesty, professionalism and teamwork.
