Kathleen Parker

Area Specialist

My heritage takes me back to one of the first Pioneers Thomas Waters, a botanist who came out from England in 1829 on the first fleet. He planted the first grape vine in Western Australia and produced the very first vintage at Olive Farm Winery on the banks of the Swan River, South Guildford. My mother was a Waters and had eight children, me being the youngest. My father purchased 10 acres of land for £100 where the Perth International airport now stands; we lived there for 20 years. All of my childhood days were spent roaming and exploring the bush nearby. I guess that is where my love for the land and our Australian bush comes from, having spent many a day there.

Since then I have had over 16 years in office administration and management which has taught me how important attention to detail is and also good customer service & relations. I have discovered that I am a people person and enjoy helping people get from where they are to where they want to be. I have always had a keen interest in real estate having purchased and sold a few myself, and have been selling real estate since 2005 having won a multitude of industry awards in that time.

The things that are important to me in my line of work are honesty, professionalism and teamwork.

"From the moment I met Kathy I experienced her happy caring and thoughtful personality – she left no stone unturned in giving me an informed insight into the pro’s and cons of selling a home – what to do and what not to do – with confidence, poise, a gentle manner, not at all pushy, and the likeableness of her personality endeared me to her straight away. Kathy gave me confidence in her in-depth ability to successfully sell my home. I felt so at ease to just leave it all to her and every step of the way was a stress free, well-informed experience. My home was sold very quickly. From the moment prospective buyers walked into my home they would have felt and known Kathy’s special qualities – so appropriate for the occasion...Thanks Kathy."

Ms H Payet

"We met Kathy when she marketed our neighbours property at 3 Curlewis and she kept in contact with us over the time of no 3 sale until we decided to sell, not once did Kathy put any pressure on us and she just kept us informed of how the market was travelling and made the sale so relaxed. Believe me there are a few Real Estate Co’s out there that could take a leaf out of your book instead of being “hound dogs”. I already referred Kathy to friends who are thinking of selling, as I know she will help them like she did us. Thank you for a successful sale."

Mr K & Mrs N Crane

"Kathy, what can I say? Yet another brilliant job. This is the second time you have sold a house for me. I am just as happy with the results as last time. I have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone. See you again in the future."

Ms R Simpson, Lesmurdie

"I was overall very happy with the service I received from Kathleen Parker. Kathy worked tirelessly for the sale of my house in what I felt was a difficult sale with limited potential. Kathy was very happy to put the time in to do home opens and was great with communication, constantly updating me on what was happening."

Mr S Bycroft, Lesmurdie

"Just a little something to say “thank you” for your professionalism and patience in the difficult situation has been really appreciated. I knew you were the right woman for the job right from the start. Much love."

Ms K Shearn, Kalamunda

"I was so thank full I had kept a letterbox pamphlet introducing Kathleen Parker and the real estate company she worked for. When I was ready to sell my rental home I placed a phone call to the company that Kathleen worked for. When Kathleen phoned me back promptly, arrangements were made to inspect my property. From that moment I felt so at ease & knew that I had found the right person. Her manner and confidence took away all the stress. I was kept well informed after each time my home was open for inspection. Kathy was also helpful when I needed the white ant inspection and a settlement agency & they were both so friendly and helpful just like the rest of the staff at the real estate company Kathy worked for. I would recommend Kathleen Parker to anyone & Wish her well for all her future ventures."

Ms P Cruite

"Thank you so much Kathy for the kindness and honesty you are showing us. We have dealt with many agents mainly overseas but also a few here and just wanted to say that your integrity, knowledge, communication skills and understanding of what we are looking for is to a much higher standard that anyone we have come across in the past. Thank you once again."

Mrs K & Mr D Forbes, Buyers, Kalamunda

"After having three companies appraise our property 12 months ago only one person kept in touch with a friendly “how are you going? Can we help you in anyway” So it was with great confidence we decided to put a “For Sale Sign” on our property. A massive decision for us as we had never been through the process of selling associated with 47 years of living in our home. With Kathy Parker at the helm it all went very smoothly from the beginning of the sale process to the SOLD sticker on the sign. Kathy has been supportive, cheerful and positive throughout. Having the sign board out the front of the property certainly created the initial interest, making it possible for prospective buyers validate without intrusion, helping make the decision to inspect further if they so wished. The home open could then ascertain the interested and we had some idea of what to expect. Those considering selling we would respectfully suggest a sin board to give a view of the property and not the full view of the house. Kathy has kept in touch every 2-3 days which has been most appreciated and kept us free of stress…………..Thank you Kathy."
